MAC PLUG

a wellbore sealing agent. Its fibrous, granular morphology provides effective plugging performance in clean water, brines and all types of drilling and completion fluid systems. This helps to greatly improve the strength of the borehole wall, increase formation pressure capacity, improve the equivalent circulation density (ECD) window of the formation, as well as provide good leakage control, plugging and anti-collapse performance. MAC PLUG can also control the penetration of drilling fluid into the formation, preventing any solids or fluid components from damaging the oil and gas reservoir.

Application

• MAC PLUG is surface treated to make it compatible with both water- and oil-based muds, allowing it to be used as a broad-spectrum leak-proof product.
