DENZEL HY

an organic soil made up of a complex blend of inorganic minerals and organic compounds. It is an indispensable component of oil-based drilling fluids, increasing both the viscosity and shear force as well as reducing the filtration loss of the system. DENZEL HY forms gels in various organic solvents, oils and liquid resins. It also has good thickening, lubricity and thixotropy properties, as well as suspension and high-temperature stability. This allows DENZEL HY to have a wide range of applications in oil drilling, coatings, metallurgy, aviation and chemical fiber.

Application

• Coarse colloid dispersion suitable for oil-based drilling fluids, yielding similar effect as bentonite in water-based systems.
  
• High temperature resistance with maximum operating temperature of 200°C.
